Velvet…

Top: Eileen Fisher (also love this similar style and this one!!) | Jeans: AG | Sandals: Steve Madden (also love this similar style) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Bag: YSL (similar style here and here) | Watch: Michele | Bracelets: David Yurman | Earrings: Nordstrom | Lips: Tom Ford

Happy Wednesday, everyone!! I picked up this top at Nordstrom last week because the second I saw it I knew I needed it! I don’t have a ton of velvet in my wardrobe, but I do love the texture and I love how it’s unique and different. And how perfect is this deep plum shade for fall?!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

  1. Beautiful post, Rach! Velvet is such a beautiful way to add texture to fall looks. I love this short sleeve top to transition into fall-looks amazing with denim. Also, I just ordered your lovely white skirt. Thank you for your amazing generosity while helping the victims of Hurricane Harvey. You are always an inspiration.

  2. Love this! I’m so excited about all the velvet for fall! I know Eileen Fisher runs larger. For reference can you share what size your wearing?

  3. This is a beautiful look, Rach! I don’t have much velvet in my wardrobe either. Definitely going to add some to my closet this fall. Here’s to hoping Dallas will actually get cold enough for me to wear a thick fabric, ha!

Sidenote, totally feel like this is the 2014 Rach and I LOVE it! xo

  4. Wow, you look amazing! The rich colors really suit you much better than pastels and love to see you without the obvious lip liner. Gorgeous!

  5. Love the color of your hair, but I think you’d look much better if you cut it. It’s so long and stringy. You can totally pull off a shoulder length or a bob. I think a makeover would do wonders for you.
