Trending For Fall {your home + your wardrobe}…

Fall is right around the corner and I’m secretly so excited! Fall is one of my favorite seasons for more reasons than one. I love the smell of crisp fall air, the color of the leaves that change on the trees, sipping on hot chocolate again AND all the new fall trends!!

Since moving into our new home, I’ve been in full decorating mode so I’ve been keeping up with the latest home decor items online and I’ve never noticed, until recently, how closely home decor trends follow fashion trends. I love the idea of combining fashion and home trends because through spending the last year choosing finishes for our home and now choosing furniture and accessories, my style in decorating directly reflects my personal fashion style.

I was thrilled when West Elm asked if I would share a few of my favorite lighting pieces from their fall collection, inspired by all the hottest fall 2014 trends that came down the runway. Which trend is your favorite?

xo, Rach

Thanks to West Elm for sponsoring this post.

  5. Those are some gorgeous runway shots and light pieces! I have to say I’m a summer person but I love fall fashion, it’s always bittersweet for me when the leaves start to change. Especially as fall is usually so short here in Utah!

I really love the marble table lamp. I think it is a very classic and neutral piece that would fit into any space. I’m excited to see west elm pieces because I just purchased a dresser and chairs from them. So, it’s nice to see what new goodies they have for the upcoming season. Maybe I’ll post pictures of my room once it’s done. Thanks for the inspiration!
