Happy Monday everyone! There are few things I love more than the color pink, especially when paired with an amazing print! When I spotted this kate spade new york dress at Nordstrom I was so giddy. I think I’ve worn pink with just about every color in the rainbow but I loved the unexpected pink x tangerine combo. This made the perfect look for a summer wedding we just attended. It’s bright, playful, feminine and classic kate spade! How would you style this dress?

  1. Amazingly stunning Rach! I love your use of bright colours without being too overpowering, a very daring move and executed beautifully. Now to look for high street versions to recreate the look! Thanks for inspiring me x

  2. Rachael – just some advice from a hairstylist…I think your face would look less fat/wide/disproportionate if you cut it a little shorter. The unnatural length / extensions do and will make it look fatter.

    1. Ann,

Thanks for your opinion. However, if you saw me walking down the street I’m sure you would never come up to me and tell me my face is fat. I’m not sure why you think it’s okay to tell me that here. Treat others the way you would want to be treated.

btw. this is my natural hair. I don’t have extensions and I think it looks great! Thanks for reading.

      1. Once again, you have handled yourself with such dignity and grace when addressing comments that are hurtful. I think you look so gorgeous in this post! I love your hair straight because it emphasizes your beautiful face and features. You look striking in this bold color combination!! I love these two colors separately and together. I love your clutch and love your choice of white heels to bring out the white in the skirt (dress). Incredible style, as always!!!

    2. Ann, you are completely out of line. You are entitled to your own opinion, but please keep it to yourself if it is hurtful. Also, you made the assumption that she wears extensions. If you followed her, you would know that this is her natural hair. She is beautiful on the outside and the inside. Plus, take a look at the number of followers she has. So many women of all ages turn to her for her advice in clothes, make up, and hair.

  3. Love this look! Great color combination and I love how you wore the dress as a skirt and made it more versatile! Those Jimmy Choos are fab as well!

  4. How did you get the dress to act like a skirt? Is the top safety pinned in the back? What am I missing!? Looks flawless!

    1. Graciela,

I used a clear elastic and tied it from behind. I do that a lot when I wear blouses over dresses. Works like a charm!

  5. I LOVE this!! How did you style the top to make it look like separates? The colors are fabulous!! You look beautiful, love the straight hair:)
