Mountain Air…

Drew, Dash and I loaded the car and headed up the canyon to enjoy the fresh mountain air on Saturday. It was such a charming evening playing by the lake, making tin foil dinners, roasting lots of s’mores and just escaping the world for a few hours (Dash was in complete puppy heaven). I pulled out my favorite booties and finished off the look with this cozy sweater from Sosie, reminding me why I love fall clothing so much and I’m now fully craving autumn time! What about you, are you ready for sweaters, boots and layers??

As always, thanks so much for reading!

xo, Rach

Big thanks to Sosie for sponsoring this post.

  1. Hello Rach, your blog is really great. :-) I am from Czech republic and I love fashion and your style is like my style. :-)
Dash is fast growing up, I know that because I have puppy rottweiler and he is bigger and bigger every day :-)

  2. These photos make me want to cosy up by that fire and wrap a big cardigan around me! Love it. I’m not quite ready to give up on summer, especially as I have a holiday to sunny Spain booked for a few week’s time, but it’s definitely starting to feel a bit Autumnal here in the UK. Love your outfit, and such good photos x

  3. Your dog is so adorable! I have a small German Shephard mix named Dash! Great name!

That awesome cardigan is sold out already :(

    LOVE your blog!

  4. Beautiful pictures and the outfit looks just super cosy. Layers and comfy sweaters are one reason why I’m also looking forward for fall :-)

  5. Hi Rachel,

What lake is this? I just moved to Salt Lake from San Francisco and my fiancé and I are looking for some places to take engagement pics. This location would be perf.

    Thanks and cute post!

You look so beautiful and comfortable in that cozy ensemble. I actually love the transition time between summer and fall. We get quite an extended timeframe here in Phoenix!! I love being able to slowly incorporate fall pieces into my summer wardrobe.

  14. All time fav Pink Peonies post award! This post captures everything wonderful and that I love about life, blogging, the transition from summer to fall, and of course Saturdays spent with family. I have two corgi pups and my husband and I, and as a small little family we love our weekends to be filled enjoying the simple beauty of the outdoors, and seeing our dogs happy in leash-less heaven.

The lighting here is incredible and I absolutely adore your booties and sweater. Lots of love and happiness to you and your family Rach.

  16. I LOVE the look of these jeans. I think they’re the same ones as the pair you wore in your post about Sí perfume? Anyways, I’m dying to know where they’re from. The link for the jeans on both posts leads to a different pair ;similar — but not the same). I’m really dying to know. They look like the perfect pair. Thank you! :)
