Most of you know we just moved into our new home and I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am! After having half of our belongings packed away in storage for 8 months, I was more than ready to get organized and into the swing of our regular routine again, including making fresh and healthy dinners. I love to cook. However, while we were building, we ate out more often than not. Both Drew and I could feel it catching up with us and we just weren’t feeling energized like we usually do when we are able to eat a healthy home cooked meal. Since moving in, we’ve tried to eat at home as much as we can but I’m always surprised at how much food, especially fresh produce, is wasted because we can’t get through it before it goes bad.
