I can’t believe that since becoming a mom how much more laundry I do…who knew such a teeny tiny human could require SO much laundry! Miss Isla Rose is a busy one-year-old who loves to explore and make messes, which in turn makes messes not only on her clothes, but mine as well. Now days it doesn’t matter if I’m wearing white, hot pink or black, I always end up with some type of smudge or stain on my shirt by the end of the day. With baby #2 coming so soon, I can only imagine that all the stained clothing is only going to get worse!

My Electrolux washer has been amazing because for starters, it’s gorgeous. It looks so good in the space and I love how the chrome accents on both the washer and the dryer match perfectly with the hardware that’s on my cabinets. More importantly, I love my washer because it uses SmartBoost technology to effectively remove stains. I wore this white Tory Burch cardi the other night to a family BBQ and Isla was chowing down on watermelon and blueberries, which of course got all over the both of us. I was so worried the stains wouldn’t come out of my cardi and her little romper since they are both white, but after I washed it, they both looked good as new (Tory cardi’s aren’t cheap so I’m glad I’m still able to wear it)!! I also wear a lot of bright colors (especially red and pink) and I love that if I get a stain on something that’s a bright color, my Electrolux washer will keep it looking fresh and vibrant.

Thank you for this post. I’m very neurotic when it comes to my daughters clothes and stains. I also found the Oxi Clean spray(the one for stains with the yellow nozzle)works GREAT!!! I spray it on the stain throw it in the wash and 99% of the time her clothes are back to new.

I’m confused… We just built our house and as inspiration, I saved the pictures of your laundry room that were from your post on the Honest Company last year… How come in that post the pictures had a non-sloped ceiling and cabinets above your washer and dryer? Is that one off of your master or in a different part of your house?

    • Rachel Parcell says:

This one is from my upstairs laundry room! I have a smaller laundry room connected to my master as well. Its nice to have one in my bedroom so I don’t have to haul clothes upstairs but also great to have one upstairs for the kids clothes and random towels!

Previously I was using Samsung Washing Machine with EcoBubble. At first, I think that it was great. I thought this is the best appliance that I ever had. But I was wrong. When I used an Electrolux washer this makes my life easier and as a busy mom, I got a lot of work things to do. But with the help of Electrolux washer I can do other chores while Electrolux doing the job.
